so, what's the deal with
health coaching?

What It Is

Health coaches support clients achieve a variety of physical and mental health goals -- for example, managing blood sugar or stress. In this client-led relationship, you lead the way while I help navigate by building on your strengths and honoring your core values. I help build self-awareness, confidence, and resilience. I also uncover barriers to success and create bite-size steps for you to start taking action today.

What It Isn't

As your health coach, I am not a substitute for seeing your primary care physician. While I am equipped with clinical knowledge, I do not serve as a 24/7 advice nurse and also do not diagnose or prescribe treatment. Additionally, while I'm happy to discuss general nutrition principles, I am not a dietitian nor nutritionist, so I do not provide detailed meal plans.

Who It's For

You may be a great candidate for health coaching with me if:

  • You are ready or already trying to improve your health, but not sure where to start or how to finally make it happen

    • e.g. get (back into) shape, eat healthier, lose or gain weight, control your blood sugar, manage your high blood pressure, or reduce stress​

  • You are willing to actively participate in achieving your goals

  • You are connected to your primary care physician, i.e. have access to a doctor or nurse practitioner in case of a medical or mental health concern
